Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Senior Site Engineer to manage and coordinate the construction of all structural elements on projects ranging £10-100m. The role is site-based in the Central region, working with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors.

You'll help set-out, supervise concrete and steelwork, maintain survey records and ensure safety and quality across all works. A degree in construction/engineering and relevant site engineering experience are required.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in construction or engineering.
• 2+ years post-graduate site engineering experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Total Station and setting-out tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction of all structural elements on site.
• Maintain survey instruments and establish gridlines and levels.
• Prepare setting-out, QA records and as-built drawings.
• Lead temporary works coordination and inspections.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and communicate risks.
