Job summary

BAM UK&I in the Central region is recruiting a Building Services Manager to oversee the management of M&E subcontractors and ensure installation works align with the programme and construction commitments. You will liaise with mechanical, electrical and public health engineers, designers and consultants to resolve technical issues, manage information flow, and supervise the delivery of services to the project.

A proactive approach to safety, quality and team leadership is essential.

Qualifications

Demonstrable experience in building services environments.
Strong interpersonal skills with clients and consultants.
Understanding of delivery project procurement processes.
Ability to manage a multi-disciplinary team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Manage M&E subcontractors to meet installation programme and construction commitments.
Maintain day-to-day site diary with instructions, co-ordination, delays and attendance.
Chair subcontractor progress meetings and monitor performance and actions.
Ensure commissioning dates (power on, gas available, water available) are identified and met.
Ensure changes are controlled via authorised change management and variations.
Prepare monthly written progress reports for main site meetings.
