Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Pre-Construction Manager to join the Central construction segment. This role will be based at the Solihull office, covering the Central region, with a flexible working policy.

Reporting to the Pre-Construction Director, you will lead and manage the preconstruction process from tender stage to main contract award, coordinating clients, consultants, supply chain and the internal BAM team to deliver compliant, value-led bids.

Qualifications

• Experience leading preconstruction and bid teams.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Knowledge of procurement and tender processes.
• Degree or CIOB qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with education sector projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review tender information and develop bid strategy.
• Own bid submissions and coordinate writers and reviewers.
• Manage bid managers and bid writers.
• Establish tender delivery programme and governance.
• Lead internal and external tender meetings.
