Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Geotechnical or Section Geotechnical Engineer to join its Ground Engineering team. Based from the Kilsyth office in Glasgow, this predominantly site-based role involves managing geotechnical works across Scotland, with flexibility to travel to the North of England and Midlands.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering geotechnical works and supervising project teams.
• Competence in documentation writing and effective written & verbal communication.
• Preferred RoGEP, Professional Membership, CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid at Work, PTS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with the Geotechnical team on project progress and developments.
• Write and maintain HSQE documentation.
• Supervise the safe, efficient delivery of geotechnical works to a high technical standard.
• Develop and maintain relationships with client, supply chain and third parties.
• Ensure safety and environmental standards on site with safe systems of work.
• Record site activities and forecast project resources.
