Job summary

Open Targets is recruiting a Senior Bioinformatician to lead single-cell and spatial transcriptomics analyses across projects on immune cell biology and reproductive tissues. You will troubleshoot workflows, design informed analyses, and drive biological insight in collaboration with the Vento Lab.

You will publish and present results while organizing code and data within the group, contributing to impactful discoveries in human immunology and reproductive biology.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant biological, computational or quantitative discipline or equivalent experience.
• In-depth experience with single-cell transcriptomics across full analytical workflows.
• Ability to align analyses with scientific priorities and deliver timely results.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of scRNA-seq, snRNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics and multiomics data.
• Design biologically informed analytical approaches and interpret results critically.
• Collaborate with the open targets team and contribute to publications and presentations.
