Job summary

University of Oxford invites a Senior Bioinformatician to join a multidisciplinary team studying Crohn’s disease. You will develop computational pipelines to integrate omics data with clinical datasets and collaborate across experimental, clinical and industry partners.

The role requires a PhD with strong computational experience in single-cell and spatial technologies, knowledge of Python and R, and proficiency with HPC and version control. Hybrid working arrangements apply.

Qualifications

• PhD/DPhil with substantial computational element.
• Expertise in omics data analysis, including single-cell and spatial multi-omics.
• Experience with ML/AI methods and Python/R programming.

Responsibilities

• Develop computational pipelines for integration of omics data.
• Coordinate analysis of omics datasets and manage data scientists.
