Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Lead Engineer to head the Scunthorpe site engineering team. You’ll keep production lines running, perform root cause analysis, and drive improvements to prevent recurrence of faults.

You’ll oversee permits to work, RAMS, and contractor control, while logging activities in the CMMS and coordinating with Area Managers during handover and planning sessions. This is shift work with 4 on/4 off days and nights.

Qualifications

• Proven engineering experience in food, FMCG or similar fast-paced manufacturing.
• Experience leading a shift team with a track record of getting the best out of them.
• Credible ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and drive improvements.

Responsabilités

• Lead the engineering team on site to keep production lines running smoothly.
• Perform root cause analysis on major stoppages and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Manage permits to work, RAMS, and contractors; ensure proper documentation.
• Log activities in the CMMS in real time and coordinate with Area Managers for handovers.
• Train and develop apprentices and manage attendance and development plans.
