Job summary

IBM Consulting UK FutureNow is seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead the design, development, and customization of complex ServiceNow solutions for public-sector and defence clients. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply strong JavaScript and UI development skills, and deliver initiatives that improve efficiency and outcomes.

The role requires hands-on ServiceNow development, Integration Hub/MID Server experience, and a CIS/CAD/CSA or equivalent

Qualifications

Commercial experience in ServiceNow development or similar roles.
In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform, including JavaScript and UI development.
ServiceNow CIS/CAD/CSA or equivalent certifications preferred.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and customization of complex ServiceNow applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IBM and public-sector/defence environments, to architect scalable solutions.
Build, refine, and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, workflows, and automated processes.
Design and support integrations between ServiceNow and external systems via APIs and web services.
Ensure development aligns with ServiceNow best practices, governance, and security standards.
Oversee the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment and ongoing support.
