Job summary

IBM Consulting UK FutureNow is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to deliver tailored ServiceNow strategies, configuration, and advisory services within secure Public Sector and Defence environments. You will work closely with clients to implement ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and related modules while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

With a focus on governance, security, and continuous improvement, you’ll drive successful ServiceNow implementations and provide training and ongoing

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, administration, configuration, and platform architecture.
• Experience designing, developing, and customizing ServiceNow solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Extensive knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, IRM, HRSD in ServiceNow.
• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA/CAD/CIS/CTA/CMA are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of tailored ServiceNow strategies, balancing value, effort, and alignment with ITIL best practices.
• Provide technical expertise across ServiceNow development, configuration, and maintenance.
• Prepare cost-benefit analyses and contribute to solution design, including effort estimation and costing.
• Configure and support ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
• Deliver client training and ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of the ServiceNow platform.
• Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to coordinate the deployment of secure ServiceNow solutions.
• Work effectively within secure Public Sector or Defence environments, adhering to governance and security requirements.
