Job summary

Bounteous is seeking a talented ServiceNow Developer to design, develop and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, GRC and CSM for public sector clients in the UK.

The role requires active SC clearance, collaboration with analysts, architects and stakeholders, and delivery across SDLC with strong scripting and integration skills.

Contract position based in London, Manchester, Ipswich with emphasis on secure environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' hands-on ServiceNow development across multiple modules.
• Strong scripting in JavaScript including Glide API and server/client scripts.
• Experience with ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, GRC and CSM modules.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and MID Server.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and CMDB.
• Experience with ATF and instance cloning.
• Agile/Scrum experience with Jira/Confluence.
• Active SC clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow solutions across modules.
• Develop custom applications, workflows, UI policies, business rules, and scripts.
• Implement and configure integrations using REST, SOAP, and MID Server.
• Translate requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
• Participate in SDLC design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards.
• Support patching and upgrades across environments.
• Collaborate with architects on roadmap-aligned solutions.
• Produce design specs, test plans, and runbooks.
• Provide third-line support for incidents and changes.
• Work in secure government/public sector environments.
