Reed Professional Services is recruiting for a Service Transition Manager position located in Farringdon, London, with a hybrid work arrangement of 2 days onsite each week. Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Transition Manager in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and practices.
• Demonstrable experience managing supplier transitions in large-scale, multidisciplinary digital or technology programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging confidently at all levels.
• Experience coordinating and delivering knowledge transfer and service readiness activities.
• Ability to work under pressure with strict delivery timelines.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and governance-focused.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end service transition activities aligned with programme objectives.
• Serve as the primary interface between Service Management, Programme Delivery, and Suppliers.
• Plan and manage supplier transitions to prevent degradation of live services.
• Own and coordinate transition planning, governance, and reporting.
• Manage knowledge transfer activities and deliver structured sessions.
• Coordinate transition delivery to ensure clear entry/exit criteria are met.
• Oversee pre- and post-transition support phases for smooth handover.
• Ensure suppliers are operationally ready for go-live.
• Provide assurance to senior stakeholders that transitions are controlled and compliant.
