Job summary

Nationwide Platforms Ltd. in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Service Engineer to lead the workshop team, work with the Location Service Manager, and ensure servicing of our hire fleet meets customer expectations.

You will monitor PDIs, maintain vehicle appearance to standard, and guide engineers for breakdown support. The role requires supervisory experience in a busy workshop and NVQ level 3 in maintenance/engineering, with a focus on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a busy workshop setting.
• Experience in powered access or construction plant hire is preferred.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a maintenance/engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist Location Service Manager in day-to-day running of the workshop.
• Ensure 100% coverage for servicing and maintenance of the hire fleet.
• Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) at depot or on site as required.
• Produce monthly inspection reports and service schedules, organize workload.
• Maintain fleet appearance to corporate standard.
• Provide guidance and support for customer breakdowns.
