Job summary

Nationwide Platforms is seeking a Workshop Service Engineer in Leicester to inspect, repair and maintain powered access machines. You will contribute to safe operation, complete PDIs, and support the depot workshop daily with a proactive approach.

Ideal candidates have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, experience in diesel engineering and hydraulics, and a strong focus on customer service. Training will be provided, with a focus on safety and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent in general engineering.
• Experience in diesel engines, auto electrics, hydraulics and diagnostics fault finding.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support the Location Service Manager in running the Depot workshop.
• Carry out PDI inspections at client premises and depot per manufacturer specs.
• Repair machines at depot or on site to meet manufacturer and policy standards.
• Complete planned maintenance and keep fleet appearance to corporate standards.
• Handover machines to customers and demonstrate safe operation.
• Accurately complete paperwork including reports and service sheets.
