Job summary

Designit, London, is seeking a Lead Service Designer to join our studio and shape how services are designed and delivered for clients. This senior, hands-on role spans the full service design lifecycle—from understanding the problem to designing future-state experiences and supporting implementation.

You’ll work across multidisciplinary teams, integrating human and AI-enabled touchpoints across digital and physical channels, and you’ll drive opportunities, governance, and outcomes with clients

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in service design, ideally in consultancy or agency environments.
• Proven ability to translate research into clear, actionable service concepts.
• Experience designing multi-channel services spanning digital, physical, and human touchpoints.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic service design projects from discovery through implementation.
• Translate user insights into differentiating concepts and services with measurable impact.
• Apply systems thinking to design optimized service ecosystems balancing user, business, and tech priorities.
• Ground recommendations in robust research and evidence-based data.
• Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions with diverse stakeholders.
• Mentor and lead a multidisciplinary design team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Manage client relationships and contribute to business development.
