Job summary

Designit, Wipro's experience, innovation, and design business, is seeking a Lead Service Designer in London to shape how services are designed and delivered for clients.

This senior role spans the full service design lifecycle—from discovery to implementation—working with multidisciplinary teams and client stakeholders to drive measurable outcomes across digital and physical channels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in service design, ideally in consultancy or complex product environments.
• Strong expertise in service blueprinting, journey mapping, ecosystem mapping, and stakeholder mapping.
• Proven ability to synthesise research into clear, actionable insights and service concepts.
• Experience designing across multi-channel services spanning digital, physical, and human touchpoints.
• Comfortable facilitating workshops and co-creation sessions with diverse groups including leadership.
• Ability to connect service design decisions to business strategy and measurable outcomes.
• Confident presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders; inclusive design mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic service design projects, scoping and planning complex initiatives from discovery to implementation.
• Drive business transformation by translating insights into differentiating concepts and services.
• Apply systems thinking to design optimised service ecosystems balancing user, business, and tech needs.
• Ground recommendations in robust research and evidence from field and desk sources.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement through workshops, co-creation sessions, and presentations.
• Mentor and develop a multidisciplinary design team, fostering creativity and collaboration.
• Manage client relationships and support business development activities locally and internationally.
• Champion Designit's values and contribute to shaping the service design practice.
