Job summary

Designit is seeking a Senior Service Designer to join our London studio, shaping how services are designed and delivered for clients. The role spans discovery to delivery, involving mapping ecosystems, translating research into compelling service concepts, and guiding multi‑disciplinary teams.

You’ll apply systems thinking to balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility, and work on AI‑enabled pathways while maintaining quality and governance across engagements.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years experience in service design or related consultancy/agency environments.
• Strong mastery of service blueprinting, journey mapping, and ecosystem mapping.
• Ability to turn research into actionable service concepts and blueprints.
• Experience designing multi‑channel experiences across digital, physical and human touchpoints.

Responsibilities

• Lead service design workstreams across discovery, definition, and delivery.
• Map and analyse service ecosystems to understand value drivers.
• Translate insights into service concepts, blueprints, and future‑state journeys.
• Apply systems thinking to balance user needs, business goals, and feasibility.
• Design for AI-enabled service pathways with clear governance and escalation.
• Facilitate workshops and co‑creation sessions with diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborate with researchers, designers, and engineers to deliver integrated outcomes.
• Support junior designers through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
