Job summary

83zero Ltd in Manchester is seeking a Senior Service Designer with active SC clearance to join a leading global IT consultancy on high-profile public sector digital transformation programmes.

You will lead end-to-end service design, shape digital services around user needs, apply GDS standards and accessibility principles, and mentor junior designers while collaborating with UX, research, product and development colleagues.

Qualifications

• Active SC Security Clearance is essential.
• Proven experience leading service design in complex digital transformation programmes.
• Strong knowledge of GDS standards and inclusive design principles.

Responsibilities

• Leading end-to-end service design activities from discovery to delivery.
• Designing and shaping digital services around user needs and business objectives.
• Applying GDS standards, accessibility requirements and inclusive design principles.
• Planning and facilitating workshops, stakeholder sessions, co-design activities and design sprints.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including UX/UI Designers, Researchers, Product Owners and Developers.
• Using research, insights and service mapping to identify opportunities and improve customer experiences.
• Supporting and mentoring junior designers and contributing to the design community.
