Job summary

National Highways is recruiting a Senior Service Delivery Manager (HADECs) to lead the delivery of roadside technology services critical to a safe and reliable motorway network. The role is hybrid, with two office days weekly, and can be based at any National Highways office across the UK.

You will oversee operational performance of HADECs, manage incidents and problems, and work with design and procurement to apply lessons learned, ensuring robust financial and contract management while

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing complex, business-critical IT or Operational Technology services within a large-scale operational environment.
• Experience of managing technology services that support operational decision-making, infrastructure operations or safety-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of incident, problem, event and service performance management principles.
• Excellent communication skills with experience influencing senior stakeholders and presenting service performance information at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Analysing the performance of roadside technology services and directing resources to intervene and achieve continuous service improvement.
• Taking a lead in fault, event and problem management of the service.
• Collaborating with service design and procurement teams to feed back lessons learnt from operational experience.
• Improve performance by building relationships between end-users, suppliers, installers, asset managers and maintainers.
