Job summary

National Highways is recruiting a Senior Service Delivery Manager (HADECs) within the Digital Operational Services function to lead roadside technology services across the Strategic Road Network. The role focuses on incident and problem management, service performance and stakeholder engagement to ensure safe and reliable operations.

The position offers hybrid working with two days per week in an office, and may be based at any National Highways office location with travel across the UK as

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Operational Technology, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• ITIL qualification (preferably ITIL 4 or V5).
• Significant experience managing complex, business-critical IT or OT services within a large-scale operational environment.
• Experience of managing technology services that support operational decision-making, infrastructure operations or safety-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operational performance of one or more roadside technology types; primarily Speed Enforcements (HADECs).
• Analyse performance, control risks and issues of the roadside technology services and direct resources for continuous service improvement.
• Take a lead in fault, event and problem management of the service.
• Collaborate with service design and procurement teams to feed back lessons learnt into the asset life cycle.
• Improve performance by building relationships between end-users, suppliers, installers, asset managers and maintainers.
• Manage service and robust financial management of contracts, monitoring, reporting, and lead fault/event/problem management.
