Job Role – Motor Vehicle Service Advisor

Key Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring customers are aware of required service and repair work in a professional manner
• Advising on estimated costs and work to be undertaken
• Selling additional products as appropriate to customer needs
• Advising on timescales and collection arrangements
• Producing job cards on the in-house computer system
• Updating customer and vehicle records
• Documenting warranty work in accordance with manufacturer policy
• Preparing and completing invoices

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor in a motor garage
• Full driving licence
