Job summary

Oasis Academy Bank Leaze in Bristol is seeking an Assistant Principal for SEND and Inclusion on a part-time basis (0.6 FTE / 3 days per week). The role leads the strategic development of inclusive provision, ensuring every child receives the support, challenge and opportunities to flourish.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic development of our inclusive provision, ensuring that every child receives the support, challenge and opportunities they need to flourish.
• Provide strategic leadership for SEND, inclusion and vulnerable learners across the academy.
• Champion high expectations and ambitious outcomes for children with SEND and those facing disadvantage.
• Lead and develop a culture where adaptive teaching and inclusive practice are the responsibility of every adult.
• Work closely with teachers, support staff, families and external agencies to secure the best outcomes for children.
• Drive early identification and effective intervention to ensure children receive timely support.
• Support leaders and teachers to develop high-quality inclusive classroom practice.
• Ensure that children's voices and family partnerships are central to decision-making.
• Contribute as a member of the Senior Leadership Team to the wider strategic development of the academy.
