Job summary

Lift Kingsley is seeking an ambitious leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Assistant Principal (Inclusion). This role combines strategic leadership with responsibility for SEND provision to ensure every child receives an excellent education, every day, in every classroom.

As SENDCo, you will lead SEND provision across the school, ensuring it is inclusive, effective and compliant with statutory requirements.

Qualifications

Experience leading SEND provision with compliance to statutory requirements.
Strong communication and relationship-building with staff, families and external professionals.
Ability to drive school improvement using evidence and outcomes.
Commitment to inclusion and high expectations for all students.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership for SEND, ensuring provision is inclusive and meets statutory requirements.
Identify and remove barriers to learning so students with additional needs reach full potential.
Collaborate with staff, families, external agencies and Resource Provision Lead to improve provision and outcomes.
Monitor and evaluate SEND provision using evidence to identify areas for improvement.
Contribute to strategic leadership and ongoing school improvement as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Lead priorities that improve teaching, raise achievement and promote behaviour, wellbeing and culture.
Line manage teaching and support staff with clear direction and support.
Promote an inclusive environment where every student thrives.
