Job summary

Home Bargains is seeking an experienced Security Operations Centre Manager to lead our 24/7 SOC and Incident Support team across Retail and Logistics, ensuring proactive protection of colleagues and assets. You will build a high-performing team, drive continuous improvement, and manage incidents to minimise disruption.

As a senior leader, you will perform root-cause analyses, collaborate with stakeholders across the business, and explore new technologies to strengthen security and risk

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in Loss Prevention or security.
• Experience leading 24/7 operations.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the 24-hour SOC across Retail and Logistics.
• Build and develop a high-performing, accountable team.
• Record incidents and actions with accurate documentation.
• Develop strategies to reduce security and operational risks.
• Oversee incident management and escalate issues to minimise disruption.
• Lead root cause analyses for high-risk incidents.
• Act as senior decision maker in absence of the manager.
• Lead projects from planning to implementation.
• Collaborate with teams to coordinate incident response.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and drive theft awareness.
• Evaluate technologies to improve safety and prevent crime.
• Provide timely reporting on incidents, risks and performance.
• Contribute to Profit Protection leadership and optimize processes.
