Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Cyber Security Manager (Operations) to lead day-to-day security operations, monitor threats, respond to incidents and safeguard Morrisons’ systems and customer data. You’ll work with internal teams and third-party partners to ensure strong controls and efficient incident handling.

The role requires hands-on yet strategic leadership, experience in security operations or SOC management, and strong communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations and SOC management.
• Strong incident detection, response and escalation capabilities.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, threat intelligence, and endpoint protection.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management experience.
• Experience managing internal teams and/or third-party suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead security operations, including threat monitoring and incident response.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners to implement effective controls.
• Manage and optimise operational security tools and technologies.
• Produce reports on security events, trends, and response actions.
• Support wider security programmes and continuous improvement initiatives.
