Job summary

Arcadis, a leading design, engineering and consultancy firm, seeks a Security Engineer for its Defence and Security sector in the UK. You will drive technical delivery on medium to large security commissions and lead a team of engineers across the design lifecycle.

You will translate threats and risks into integrated security requirements, coordinating with architecture and other disciplines, and mentor junior staff toward professional registration.

Qualifications

• Strong security engineering experience in complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience translating threats, vulnerabilities and risk into buildable requirements.
• Proven ability to lead and deliver security engineering across major projects.
• Demonstrated capability to mentor teams and support professional registration.
• Understanding of cross-disciplinary interfaces and design lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for security engineering on major projects.
• Define security requirements and coordinate with architecture and other disciplines.
• Lead and mentor security engineers and consultants.
• Support workload planning, budget and delivery of security tasks.
• Contribute to bid preparation, client communications and value propositions.
