Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Security Engineer to join its Defence and Security sector in the UK. You will deliver security engineering on medium to large, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects, coordinating with architecture and other disciplines across the design and delivery lifecycle.

Reporting to the Security Sub-Sector Leader, you will lead technical delivery, contribute to governance, and mentor engineers while supporting professional registrations such as RSES and CSyP.

Qualifications

• Strong security engineering experience across major infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering security engineering within an engineering consultancy.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage client relations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to effective day-to-day delivery of Security Engineering services, including workload planning and resource coordination.
• Provide technical leadership within commissions and promote evidence-based decision-making.
• Coach and mentor security engineers and consultants, supporting professional registrations (e.g., RSES, Engineering Council, CSyP).
• Coordinate security requirements with architecture and other disciplines throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain professional standards, and support service improvement and capability development.
