Job summary

Arcadis is recruiting a Security Engineer to join its Defence and Security sector. You will lead technical delivery of medium-size projects or parts of larger programs, overseeing teams of 5–10 engineers and technicians.

The role focuses on translating threats and risk into buildable security solutions, and coordinating with architecture across design and delivery stages. You will drive governance, quality assurance and development of junior staff while supporting workload planning, capability

Qualifications

• Strong security engineering knowledge with experience translating threats, vulnerabilities and risk into buildable requirements.
• Experience delivering security engineering on large, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Ability to interpret security strategies, specifications and assurance evidence and identify gaps.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership within security commissions and ensure quality standards.
• Coach and mentor security engineers and consultants, supporting professional registration targets.
• Coordinate security requirements with architecture and other engineering disciplines through the design and delivery lifecycle.
• Develop workload planning and capability development within the Security Engineering service.
• Convert client needs into credible scopes, delivery approaches and fee proposals.
