Job summary

Arcadis in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Security Engineer to lead technical delivery on major infrastructure security commissions. You will translate threats and risks into proportionate security requirements, coordinate with architecture and other disciplines, and mentor engineers across UK and global teams.

Qualifications

• Security engineering experience on large, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering security engineering within an engineering consultancy.
• Built-environment lifecycle understanding and risk-based design integration.
• Excellent written, verbal and visual communication, with ability to present complex issues clearly.
• Evidence of continuing professional development and professional registration where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership within security engineering commissions and assurance.
• Lead the definition of security problems through risk assessments and requirement development.
• Coordinate security requirements with architecture and other disciplines.
• Coach and mentor security engineers and consultants; support professional registrations.
• Manage workload planning, resource coordination and quality across projects.
• Support commercial activities, including scope definition and fee proposals.
