Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Security Engineer to join our Defence and Security sector in the UK. You will lead technical delivery of medium to large security commissions, coordinating teams of 5–10 engineers to meet challenging client requirements and associated fee levels.

You will apply risk-based security engineering, advise on strategies, and assure designs across the asset lifecycle. The role calls for strong stakeholder engagement and professional registration activity within a consultancy

Qualifications

• Strong security engineering capability with experience coordinating and assuring design solutions.
• Experience delivering security engineering on large, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of threat, vulnerability, risk, and assurance concepts.
• Ability to interface with architecture, civil, structural, and other disciplines throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead security engineering delivery on major projects within an engineering consultancy environment.
• Coach and mentor engineers and consultants toward professional registration and high standards.
• Coordinate security requirements with other disciplines and ensure governance and quality assurance.
• Develop scopes, delivery approaches and teams responsive to client needs and fee proposals.
