Arcadis is seeking a Security Engineer to join the Defence and Security sector. You will deliver technical leadership on major security commissions, coordinating with architecture and other engineering disciplines from strategy through operation across UK projects.

You will mentor engineers, apply risk-based security design, and ensure governance and quality standards across diverse teams. This role requires strong communication and stakeholder engagement and offers exposure to nationally

Qualifications

• Substantial security engineering experience on large, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Strong ability to assess threats, vulnerabilities and risks and translate into design requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to present to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead on security engineering tasks within major programmes.
• Coach and mentor junior security engineers and consultants.
• Coordinate security requirements across architecture and other disciplines throughout the design lifecycle.
• Support governance, quality assurance and continuous service improvement.
