Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to design, build and operate security controls across our cloud-native platforms and AI-powered services. You will implement guardrails, run vulnerability scans, and work with product and engineering teams to ship secure code at speed.

You should have hands-on experience in cloud security, threat detection, and automation, with strong scripting skills and the ability to communicate complex risks clearly to stakeholders.

• Proven experience designing and deploying security controls in cloud-native environments.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning, access monitoring and incident response.
• Ability to translate security risks to engineering and product teams.
• Strong scripting and automation of security processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and run security controls and guardrails across cloud-native platforms and AI security solutions.
• Run scans, monitor systems, and identify gaps to prevent exploits.
• Automate security processes as code and embed IaC/CI/CD checks into pipelines.
• Conduct risk assessments and translate findings into actionable guidance for engineering teams.
• Monitor access logs, analyze anomalies and support incident response.
