Evotec SE is seeking a Senior Scientist 1 to lead antibody engineering and biologics design within the Protein Sciences team. You will drive design, expression, purification, and characterization of complex biologics and contribute to client-facing drug discovery programs.

You will influence project strategy, mentor scientists, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality therapeutic candidates for multinational partners.

Qualifications

• PhD in a related field (molecular biology, protein engineering, biochemistry, biotechnology, immunology).
• 5+ years in antibody discovery/engineering or biologics development.
• Experience designing and developing therapeutic antibodies and complex biologics.
• Strong recombinant biologics expression and purification experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and execution of biologics discovery and engineering across projects.
• Engineer and characterize monoclonal and bispecific antibodies and other biologics.
• Optimize expression systems and purification workflows for high-quality proteins.
• Drive data-driven decision making and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior scientists and contribute to team capability development.
