Job summary

Evotec in Macclesfield, United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Scientist I (Membrane Protein Biochemist) to design and execute projects focused on membrane protein production and characterization. Qualifications

PhD in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Structural Biology or similar with membrane protein expression/purification experience.
Alternatively, a relevant first degree plus several years in drug discovery with publications.

Responsibilities

Design and execute work plans for production and characterization of membrane proteins.
Provide oversight of results to meet project specifications.
Lead experimental design and data analysis ahead of product release to customers.
Represent the company at scientific and business conferences.
Publish peer-reviewed science to enhance Evotec’s reputation.
