Job summary

E-ACT North Birmingham Academy is seeking a Senior Hub IT Technician to support ICT services for staff and students, with visits to Nechells Primary. You will work closely with the Hub ICT Business Partner to maintain reliable ICT systems across the academy.

The role focuses on providing comprehensive technical support, maintaining effective ICT infrastructure, and contributing to continuous service improvements within a dynamic national network.

Qualifications

• 5 x GCSEs including Maths and English grade 4-9 or equivalent.
• Relevant ICT qualifications or equivalent demonstrable ICT technical support experience
• Ability to understand a range of organisational and technical procedures and the ability to disseminate to other staff
• Ability to organise and prioritise own workload and work to deadlines especially during periods of pressure

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent performance of all ICT systems across our academies, providing reliable support and maintenance.
• Act as the senior point of escalation within the academy for any Service Issues
• Operate the Academy ICT Helpdesk effectively, logging and resolving helpdesk calls within agreed service levels
• Monitor security aspects and promptly address anomalies, reporting concerns to the Hub ICT Business Partner
