Job summary

Crickhowell High School is seeking an experienced Senior IT Technician to support the IT Facilities Manager in maintaining hardware, software, and networks on-site. You will help manage devices including PCs, laptops, iPads, printers, projectors and interactive whiteboards, supporting around 950 students and 100 staff.

The role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines in a busy school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting IT in a school or educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office and Active Directory.
• Experience with iPads managed via JAMF MDM.
• Ability to support a large student/staff user base.

Responsibilities

• Support IT Facilities Manager to maintain hardware and software.
• Assist ~950 student users and ~100 staff users.
• Manage printers, projectors, and interactive whiteboards.
• Ensure reliable network and wireless infrastructure.
