Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Quality Test Engineer II to lead testing for Salesforce deployments, partnering with cross‑functional teams to ensure high-quality solutions. You will document test plans, validate requirements, and support UAT to achieve a stable, business‑facing Salesforce platform.

The role emphasizes collaboration across global teams, adoption of best testing practices, and ongoing growth in testing technology within a dynamic information and analytics environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of testing experience with Salesforce.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or related field preferred.
• Salesforce certifications such as Advanced QA Lead or Platform App Builder preferred.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile software development methodology.

Responsibilities

• Direct engagement with user groups and technical teams to execute development-related testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are feasible and testable.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing matrices.
• Lead testing activities during UAT and development lifecycles to ensure a stable Salesforce deployment.
• Apply testing methodologies to multiple projects and document results clearly.
