Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Quality Test Engineer II - Salesforce to lead testing for the Salesforce CRM platform. You will engage with global teams, assess requirements, and drive test strategies and end-user documentation.

A focus on UAT and coordinating test activities across lifecycle phases will ensure a stable Salesforce deployment. Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of Salesforce testing, Agile experience, and Salesforce certification preferences.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Salesforce testing experience.
• Salesforce Certified Advanced QA Lead certification preferred.
• Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder certification preferred.
• Scrum/Agile software development methodology experience.
• Ability to analyse and evaluate projects to determine the best test approach.
• Experience implementing or working within newly implemented Salesforce Orgs preferred.
• Strong understanding of building scalable and reliable Salesforce solutions.
• Proven ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Demonstrated test lead success with at least one large Salesforce Org.
• Excellent communication for technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Direct accountability for execution of development-related testing and end-user engagement during test phases.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and free of defects.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to validate requirements and feasibility.
• Develop test plans, test strategies, and testing matrices.
• Create end-user documentation of test plans and procedures.
• Support UAT and other lifecycle testing activities with stakeholders.
• Contribute to testing methodologies and best practices across projects.
• Document and track testing results and issues for review.
