Job summary

Qualifications

About the Role

As a Salesforce QA Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and effectiveness of Salesforce solutions across a broad range of projects. You will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and end users to design and execute testing strategies, support successful project delivery, and champion best practices that enhance both development and testing outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with various user groups and technical development teams; direct accountability for execution of development related testing and end-user engagement during test phases; ensures projects delivered are on time and free of defects
• Work closely with development and business teams to ensure defined requirements are feasible based upon current product structure
• Provide system and business process expertise when scoping test plans in relation to development requirements
• When developing test plans, review solution summaries where appropriate to ensure adherence to best practices and fit-for-purpose, user-focused development
• Demonstrate a growth mindset; enthusiastically learn new technologies and apply gained knowledge to improve development and test cycles
• Determine and apply appropriate testing methodologies to ensure quality across a wide range of projects
• Develop and maintain documentation including test plans, test strategies, test cases and testing matrices
• Support testing for new integrations and existing integration troubleshooting activities

Requirements

• Salesforce testing experience
• Salesforce Certified Advanced QA Lead certification preferred
• Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder certification preferred
• Scrum / Agile software development methodology experience
• Ability to analyze and evaluate projects to determine the most effective test approach and methodology
• Strong understanding of how to build and support highly scalable and reliable solutions on the Salesforce Platform
• Proven ability to identify and resolve complex and ambiguous technical issues
• Understanding of UI design principles and best practices
• Strong communication skills for both technical and business audiences
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and work effectively in environments with ambiguity and rapid change
• Demonstrated success leading testing activities within large Salesforce environments
