Certas Energy is seeking a Sales Team Leader on a fixed-term 12-month contract to lead the Customer Account Management team across the South West. You will guide a team of Customer Account Managers, deliver commercial activity plans, and maximise profitability and customer retention.

You will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to ensure excellent service, drive new business, and optimise pricing and margins while maintaining compliance and a strong Health and Safety culture.

Competenze

• Proven experience leading a large sales team and delivering targets.
• Around 5 years in team management within a sales or account management setting.
• Strong numeracy to manage sales, volume, margin and profitability performance.
• Excellent commercial awareness with growth mindset.
• Strong CRM and customer relationship management skills.

Mansioni

• Lead and develop the Customer Account Management team to maximise sales, margin and customer retention.
• Manage performance for ~1,500 customers across the South West portfolio.
• Develop and implement commercial activity plans to drive sustainable growth.
• Drive sales across inbound and outbound activities and match customers with products.
• Build knowledge of products, services, industries and competitors.
• Collaborate with Business Account Managers to identify new opportunities and support orders.
• Support campaigns to upsell and cross-sell fuel and ancillary products.
• Conduct regular team reviews and development plans to improve profitability and churn reduction.
• Ensure compliant calls and feedback loops with credit control to protect revenue.
