Qualifications

• Experience in B2B or telephone-based sales is essential.
• Proven track record in account management and upselling.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
• Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
• Clear and effective communication; empathy and active listening.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of commercial products and services.
• Handle inbound customer contact via calls and emails with a consultative approach.
• Identify and maximise sales opportunities including up-selling and cross-selling.
• Negotiate prices within authority to maximise profitability.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial accounts and retain customers.
• Collaborate with Business Account Managers on SWOT analyses and prospecting.
• Support new sales activity for fuel and ancillary products and engage lapsed customers.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, quotes and enquiries in systems.
• Deliver against targets and KPIs and collaborate across the business.
• Promote Health and Safety culture and ensure policy compliance.
