Job summary

KnowBe4 is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support complex sales engagements for strategic accounts. You will translate technical value into compelling proposals and assist with secure deployments across diverse industries.

The role requires strong cybersecurity knowledge, exceptional communication, and the ability to mentor teammates while driving opportunities forward alongside the Sales team.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree or technical degree preferred.
• 2-5 years of technical sales or sales engineering experience required.
• Experience with Gmail and Google Docs.
• Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.).
• Strong technical background in cybersecurity or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.

Responsibilities

• Product Expertise: Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of product features and use cases across industries.
• Articulate the product's tech architecture and integration capabilities.
• Design and present use cases/solutions for standard and complex scenarios.
• Sales Strategy and Execution: contribute to sales strategy with technical perspectives.
• Coach teammates on technical and process issues.
• Develop and execute POV evaluation plans.
• Adapt presentation style to audience's expertise.
• Resolve moderate technical issues with guidance.
• Address technical objections proactively.
• Collaborate with teammates on complex issues.
• Engage with prospects throughout the sales cycle.
• Communicate KB4 use cases and value propositions.
