Job summary

Zscaler is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer to join our UK team. This remote role supports customers within commuting distance of London, the South East or the Midlands, reporting to the Sales Engineering Manager in Solutions Consulting (Public Sector).

You will lead technical engagements to protect UK public sector infrastructure and drive cloud security outcomes. You’ll present the Zscaler platform, translate complex goals for public sector stakeholders, and act as a trusted advisor from

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain
• At least 7 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Systems Integrator, or Senior Architect within a public sector organization in particular defence organisations
• Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise network or cloud security technologies
• Demonstrated ability to deliver technical whiteboards, produce high-quality presentations, and conduct live demonstrations
• Experience partnering with sales teams to identify, qualify, and scope opportunities while delivering proof of concept engagements to achieve technical victories

Responsibilities

• Present and whiteboard the Zscaler platform to prospective customers to demonstrate architectural value.
• Translate complex goals into recommendations that resonate with public sector stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted advisor guiding clients through their digital transformation journey.
• Gather requirements and promote value through POVs, presentations, and demos with prospects.
