Job summary

City Health Care Partnership CIC is seeking a safeguarding specialist to provide expert advice to colleagues handling complex safeguarding concerns and to support safe, person‑centred decisions across health and social care partners.

You will lead training, supervision and guidance to strengthen practice, contribute to audits and learning, and collaborate across services to improve safeguarding guidance for children, young people and adults at risk.

Qualifications

• Qualified professional with current registration in nursing, allied health or social work
• Postgraduate knowledge or equivalent experience in safeguarding practice

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist safeguarding advice to colleagues managing complex cases
• Assess safeguarding risks and support evidence-based decisions
• Collaborate with partner agencies and contribute to safeguarding reviews and learning
• Deliver safeguarding training and supervision to strengthen practice
• Lead and contribute to audits and development of safeguarding guidance
