Job summary

City of Doncaster Council is seeking an experienced social work professional to join the Safeguarding Children Partnership (DSCP) team. You will support learning reviews, audits, and policy development, helping to turn front-line insight into strategic safeguarding improvements.

Working with the partnership manager, you will oversee quality assurance, contribute to multi-agency safeguarding reviews, and provide professional challenge across partner agencies.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Care England.
• Experience in safeguarding or children’s services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Safeguarding Partnership Manager to develop innovative working methods and implement improvement plans.
• Provide strategic support to the business manager and Executive Board, challenge practice across partners.
• Offer a social care perspective across DSCP activities.
• Support multi-agency safeguarding audits, analyze practice, identify themes and develop recommendations.
• Assist Local safeguarding practice reviews and other learning reviews with data gathering and learning development.
• Contribute to the development and review of multi-agency safeguarding policies and practice guidance.
• Disseminate good practice and provide professional challenge where issues arise.
• Monitor the implementation and impact of learning actions with partners.
