Zusammenfassung

City Health Care Partnership CIC in Hull is seeking an experienced Safeguarding Practitioner to provide expert safeguarding advice across its health and social care services.

The role involves assessing complex safeguarding concerns, advising healthcare professionals and contributing to audits, policy development and staff training. This on-site, full-time position is supported by NHS AfC Band 7 salary scales.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or diploma in Adult Nursing, Children’s Nursing, an Allied Health Profession or Social Work.
• Current professional registration with NMC, HCPC or Social Work England.
• Postgraduate qualification in health or social care, or equivalent specialist knowledge and experience.
• Extensive specialist safeguarding knowledge and experience.
• Understanding of safeguarding legislation (Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Children Acts, Working Together 2026).
• Experience with adults, children and families where safeguarding concerns are involved.

Aufgaben

• Provide specialist safeguarding advice and guidance to healthcare professionals.
• Assess safeguarding risks and support colleagues in decision-making.
• Support protection of children, young people, adults and families.
• Collaborate with health, social care and partner agencies.
• Participate in safeguarding meetings, case reviews and multidisciplinary discussions.
• Contribute to safeguarding investigations, governance and quality improvement.
• Deliver safeguarding training and professional supervision.
