Job summary

City Health Care Partnership CIC is seeking a safeguarding adviser to provide specialist safeguarding advice and support to colleagues managing complex safeguarding concerns. You will assess risks, work with partner agencies, contribute to safeguarding reviews and deliver training to strengthen practice.

You will lead audits, contribute to quality improvement, and help develop safeguarding guidance to protect vulnerable adults, children and families across our diverse health and social care

Qualifications

• A qualified nurse, allied health professional or social worker with current professional registration.
• A relevant postgraduate qualification, or equivalent specialist knowledge, skills and experience.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and experience of analysing complex cases involving adults, children, young people and families.
• Clear communication skills and confidence working independently and collaboratively across services.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice and support to colleagues managing complex safeguarding concerns
• Assess safeguarding risks and help professionals make safe, evidence-based decisions
• Work with partner agencies and contribute to safeguarding reviews, meetings and learning
• Deliver safeguarding training, supervision and support to strengthen practice
• Lead and contribute to audits, quality improvement and the development of safeguarding guidance
