You will work on safety-related, critical applications across Aerospace, Defence, Rail, Automotive and Energy sectors, contributing to software requirements, architecture, design, development and testing.

The role emphasizes leading technical strategy, building evidence for safety standards, and collaborating with safety teams to ensure compliance. Hybrid work with 2-3 days in Bath is offered.

Qualifications

• 7 years of industry experience with Rust.
• Experience with safety-critical standards (61508, 50128, 26262, DO-178, etc.).
• Experience in aerospace/defence/rail/automotive markets.

Responsibilities

• Shaping technical strategy on bids and projects using Capgemini's life-cycle model and QA framework.
• Leading software requirements, architecture and design efforts.
• Leading software and systems development and testing activities.
• Collaborating with the safety team to provide evidence against relevant standards.
