Anduril Industries in London seeks a Robotics Software Engineer to join the Maneuver Dominance team. You will own end-to-end features across networking, autonomy, systems integration and robotics, delivering software that works with vehicle hardware and operators in mission scenarios.
You will collaborate across teams, write scalable C++/Rust code, analyze metrics for debugging, and travel up to 20% to deploy capabilities in the real world. UKSV eligibility is required.
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
The Maneuver Dominance team is building Thunder - an autonomous attack rotorcraft built to fight alongside crewed combat aviation to deliver overwhelming mass effects deep beyond the front lines. The team in London builds the Mission System and the Autonomy that makes aircraft like Thunder work.
The autonomy is key. It decides how Thunder coordinates with the crewed and uncrewed aircraft around it, how it adapts when the mission changes, how it behaves when the link drops and what it does in the situations no one planned for. Every one of those decisions determines whether the mission succeeds. That is the problem you would own.
We are looking for a Robotics Software Engineer to join us in London. You will work across networking, autonomy, systems integration and robotics, making pragmatic engineering trade-offs as you go and making sure Anduril products work together to deliver outcomes that matter. The problems here are rarely confined to a single system, and neither is the job.
You will own real features end to end, shaped with the team, built by you and deployed to customers who depend on them. You will work directly with vehicle hardware teams and with operators who will execute the missions your code supports. Engineers on this team are driven by a “Whatever It Takes” mindset - moving fast, building things that scale and keeping the mission in front of every technical decision.
