Job summary

Anduril Industries in London is seeking a Senior Robotics Software Engineer to join the Maneuver Dominance team. You will work across networking, autonomy, systems integration and robotics, making pragmatic trade-offs while ensuring cohesion across Anduril products.

You will lead cross-cutting technical efforts from concept to deployment, collaborating with hardware teams and operators to deliver mission-critical software.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or Physics.
• 5+ years of professional experience with C++ or Rust.
• Experience building software solutions with significant data processing and analysis.
• Track record of leading technical projects and delivering complex software systems to production.
• Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases.
• Desire to work on critical software with real-world impact.
• Bias for action, extreme ownership, and drive to complete from concept to production.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active UKSV Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the feature development and software solutions deployed to customers; lead cross-cutting technical efforts from concept to deployment.
• Write code to improve products and scale mission capability to more customers.
• Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality.
• Create and analyze metrics used for debugging and monitoring.
• Triage issues, determine root causes, and plan next steps.
• Work with vehicle hardware teams and operators to align on requirements and iterate toward final design.
• Write and maintain core libraries and services for coordinating robots (e.g., motion deconfliction and contingency management).
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering bar through code reviews and design leadership.
• Travel up to 20% to build, test, and deploy capabilities in the real world.
