Job summary

Anduril Industries in London is seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to join the Maneuver Dominance team. You will own end-to-end features across networking, autonomy, systems integration and robotics, delivering software that works with hardware and operators in real missions.

You will collaborate with vehicle hardware teams, write scalable code, and move fast with a Whatever It Takes mindset, balancing trade-offs to ensure reliable, mission-critical capabilities in real-world environments.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background in computer science, software engineering, mathematics or physics.
• 2+ years of professional experience in C++ or Rust.
• Experience building software with significant data processing and analysis.
• Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and codebases.
• Desire to work on real-world, mission-critical software.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active UK security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own feature development and software solutions deployed to customers.
• Write code to improve products and scale mission capability.
• Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality.
• Create and analyze metrics for debugging and monitoring.
• Triage issues, root cause analysis, and coordinate next steps.
• Work with vehicle hardware teams and operators to align requirements.
• Write and maintain core libraries and services for robot teams.
• Travel up to 20% of the time to build, test, and deploy capabilities.
